Kim's Message Being involved with Cure Diabetes has changed my life for the better in so many ways. It has drawn me closer to my amazing family, who has rallied around this cause. I have been overwhelmed to learn how many people out there care about those who suffer with this disease – it is so nice to know how much support there is.
Insulin pump support program This new program would not be possible without the partnering of Cure Diabetes, the Foustanellas Endocrine and Diabetes Centre of the Ottawa Hospital and Canada Chemists. We are very proud to be working together to present this program!
Annual events We are very excited and honoured to announce that we will be joining forces with the Karen Taylor Memorial Golf Tournament to raise funds for both Nursing Education and Cure Diabetes. Put together a foursome and come on out to a fun, energizing and enjoyable day.
Community Partnerships Thanks to support from all levels of government, in-kind industry contributions and support from various granting agencies, donations to the Sprott Centre for Stem Cell Research are leveraged by a 5:1 ratio. This means that for every dollar that is donated, the Centre can leverage an additional $5 in support of its leading-edge research.

Cure Diabetes is a Canadian charity focused on adults with Type One Diabetes (Juvenile Diabetes) and their families. Cure Diabetes (formerly CDCC), is a dedicated group of volunteers who are committed to raising funds to support two goals.

15 March 2010 - Thanks to the generosity of supporters who are equally committed to Making Diabetes History, we have successfully raised nearly $170,000 since we formed in the late summer of 2005.

1 August 2010 - 13th ANNUAL KAREN TAYLOR MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT In support of Nursing Education & Cure Diabetes. Register before July 1st and have your name entered in a draw for some exciting early-bird prizes!

Spring 2009 - Cure Diabetes and the Foustanellas Endocrine and Diabetes Centre collaborated with Canada Chemists to launch an Insulin Pump Supply Support. Through this generous funding, there have been 13 recipients of $12, 550 of pump supplies.
